Education

MJS Joinery has delivered over 20 education projects since 2015, with package values ranging from 5k -> 500k.

Projects undertaken have included Primary, Infant, Secondary and SEN Schools and we have also delivered a number of contracts across the Higher Education sector for clients including Lancaster University and Manchester Metropolitan University.

We have experience of working on both new build and refurbishment projects and many of our installers are DBS checked.

The majority of these schemes were procured through Public Sector frameworks such as SCAPE, North West Construction Hub, ESFA and MJS Joinery worked closely with each Main Contractor to deliver on targets against framework key performance indicators (KPI’s) around programme, budget, social value, waste, customer satisfaction etc.

We pride ourselves on our ability to work with the main contractor, design team and end-users to develop suitable, affordable specifications, working closely with our local Supply Chain.

Education is one of our strongest sectors and through our extensive work undertaken to date, have maintained links with several of these schools, offering both our services and supporting ongoing CSR activities.

Health Care

MJS Joinery has delivered several Healthcare projects, with package values ranging from 5k -> 1.5m.

Projects undertaken have included New Build Hospitals, Refurbishments and Medium Secure Units, delivered for several trusts across the NW region including Merseycare & Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

In many instances our works have taken place within highly sensitive, live environments which have placed a huge emphasis on noise and dust control, monitoring and the need to comply with strict security protocols. Our ability to meet these challenges, always maintaining patient safety and comfort at all times. We adopt a flexible approach with key stakeholders, which has helped secure repeat business.

MJS Joinery worked closely with each Main Contractor to deliver on targets against framework key performance indicators (KPI’s) around programme, budget, social value, waste, customer satisfaction etc.

Leisure

MJS Joinery has delivered several projects across the Leisure sector, with various package values and always to a high specification.

Projects undertaken have been diverse in nature, ranging from pub and restaurant fit-outs, gym refurbishments to full cinema fit-outs.

The nature of these fast track projects requires detailed programming, close co-ordination with suppliers and the wider Supply Chain and the ability to provide ample resource.

Our experience working in these fast-paced environments coupled with our successful track record is reflected in the level of repeat business.

Residential

MJS Joinery has delivered several residential schemes over the years, with various package values and specifications.

Projects undertaken have ranged from Care Homes, Student Accommodation, Housing and Apartments.

We have experience of working on both new build and refurbishment projects across this sector and focus on delivering high quality, snag-free finish, causing minimal disruption to residents and negating the need for return visits.

Regular challenges encountered on these types of projects include access, logistics, programme acceleration and quality control. Through collaboration, extensive planning and robust in house quality control/inspection and test plans, these challenges are consistently met.
