A beautiful rustic sign was donated by MJS Joinery at an entrance to Maghull on Bobby’s Wood, Woodend following the completion of Mersey Care Medium Secure Mental Health Unit.
Michael Stock (Managing Director of MJS Joinery) said,“ I am a local resident and was subcontracted by Kier Construction who were working on the new Rowan Medium Secure Unit (Maghull near Ashworth Hospital) when we learnt about the Woodend Project.
Consequently, we along with Kier Construction wanted to help the local community. Kier donated the cost of the perimeter rail and we paid several hundred pounds to Gorse Hill Nature Reserve which we rounded up to £500 as a donation to the beautiful local nature reserve for the equally beautiful bespoke sign
